The cobalt zine ferrite Co1-xZnxFe2O4 (x=0–1.0) nanoparticles were synthesized by a hydrothermalmethod. Effects of zine content on themicrostructure, surface alkaline-acidic behavior and photocatalyticpropertyof thenanoparticleswere studied.The oxidation-reduction potential ofmethyl blue aqueous solution in presence of the nanoparticles at pH=7 under natural sunlight irradiationisobviouslynegative and increasedwith increase inZn content.The degradation rate of methyl blue in aquesous solution on the
